Amenities
The
main house at Middle Bay Farm includes
four large guestrooms, a dining room, parlor and beautiful
front porch to relax on. Every
morning, a full breakfast is served in the dining room or on
the porch, which overlooks the water. A typical breakfast might
include fresh melons and strawberries, cheddar and mushroom baked
eggs,
savory sausage and Maine blueberry muffins. Cereals, juices and coffee/tea
are available early in the morning.
In-season, the porch
is not only a beautiful spot to enjoy breakfast, but also a good
place to read or just relax. Wicker furniture, rocking chairs,
and a porch
swing recall a more leisurely pace of bygone times.
There are a piano
and fireplace in the parlor for your enjoyment, as well as a comfortable
couch and chairs. Off the parlor
there is a guest closet with reading material, board games, puzzles,
and literature about Maine. The guest closet also
has a small refrigerator with soft drinks and ice.
